i would say mura din naman in stores like harvey norman, jb hi-fi, dick smith. marami rin namang brands sa pc section pagpipilian pero mostly laptop lang ang mura, wala ganong nagaasemble ng desktop dito di tulad jan satin. ang aabangan mo dito yung mga sale, as in massive sila magsale lalo pag may special occasions like boxing day and the upcoming australia day. nung bagong release ang win8, halos 50% ang binaba ng mga win7 laptops.

usually ginagawa ko para makamura e humanap ng taong may employee discount 🙂 at makisuyo hehehe. Use facebook, baka may friend na may friend din na nagwowork for example sa Apple. imagine 15% discount is huge.

Sir, nagbuo ako lang ng virtualization server using ivy bridge xeon. I don't think you can buy these at pcoptions or kung saan man sa gilmore. Price is very close to those published in newegg (US). Also, isa yung Aus sa unang countries naglalabas ng bagong i-apple products, I don't know kung anu pa ang mas up to date dun. If you're referring to movies, I might agree with you on some point.

Kelan kaya mag-mainstream yung mga 4K TV's...

Yup, I'm also referring to mainstream gadgets in general. Say...yung bose ie2 (jogging earphones) i think it was released 6 mos ago in the US and we got it from videopro last december; dyson vacuums are pretty much updated; old news na dito ang windows RT tablets at may pre-ordering na sa surface pro; there's spotify here; available na dito ang 4 terrabyte WD Black ($365 sa umart). Kulang na lang ata dito yung computerised inidoro ng Japan - this one i miss. Siguro sa mga niche gadgets like 'apad' medyo huli ang Aus, pero alam ko nagkaroon din dito ng 'iped' eh, napanuod ko, na-feature sa morning news.

Or probably masyado lang akong nasanay na dito sa bukid brissy hindi na ako updated... what do you guys think, medyo huli ba ang techie ng aussie? 🙂

Hindi huli ang Aussie nakikipagsabayan din sa US, Europe, Singapore at Japan. Simula sa Computers, cars, hangang sa public toilet high tech na rin dipende sa state. 😃 Isama mo na rin network system ng Government services pati internet Banking system. Panay may sales dito staka sanay na rin dito ang bumili online then deliver na lang. cheers
