@gdcan @maureenguelan for us, we were planning to put my son in childcare right away pero we changed our minds kasi mahal ang bayad sa child care. đŸ˜ƒ nag-ipon muna kami konti and then after 6 months saka namin sya pinasok nung medyo settled na rin kami like house, work (kahit isa sa amin). Saka para di mabigla yung anak ko, dinadala ko sya sa library every Friday. Yes bring the baby book, mas maganda if pagawa kayo ng summary of immunisations sa pedia ng kids. Mas mabilis ikey-in ng nurse sa system nila.
@carlosau kung kaya nmn ng budget why not do a BM with your family. Saka volunteer, I think it will help not only to network but also understand their culture and language. I read a lot of blogs that after volunteering, they were able to secure job interviews. I did volunteer din though I did not put it sa resume ko so I am not sure how true is that but it helped me not to be depressed. If you are willing to do odd jobs which I am pretty sure mahirap din (nahirapan ako maghanap e đŸ˜ƒ) , then do it while applying for your dream job. Stick to your plans if money is not a problem. It took me 6 months before I got my job which I was not expecting it. I was about to change career but then I landed the job. And I think studying helped me too to be busy (certificate and yung mura lang). Google has free certifications which are IT related and other stuffs. Maybe you want to explore on that. Good luck and yep, do what you think is best for you! (I think medyo matumal ang jobs due to malapit ang December which they have the 2 weeks break.)
