Hi I'm a newbie here... I'm planning to get a tourist visa because I want to visit my relatives. Please give me some info. or advice. How long it will take to get a Tourist Visa. I'm planning to go to Australian Embassy sa Makati to know the requirements. Mga magkano kaya ang magagastos ko. Magkano ba talaga ang pocket money? Mahirap ba talaga makapunta sa Australia kahit Tourist Visa lang?

Hello po, just to share my experience in getting a tourist visa, hindi naman po sya mahirap basta kumpleto yung mga papeles mo. I'm not sure if madali lang din if self processing gagawin nyo kasi ako I used an agent here abroad. Then I waited for 10 working days after I lodged my visa application.Yung pocket money depende po sa inyo kung marami kayong gagastusin o budget lang ang travel nyo. Ako po since wala akong kamag-anak na mag-susuport sa akin doon I had to show proof of account and invitation letter from my friend. Check nyo na lang po sa embassy if magkano ang visa application kc iba po ang currency na ginamit ko.

Kapag ba wala pang travel to other asian countries most likely denied na ang visa even kumpleto ng requirements? May sufficient funds, work and invitation na sasagot ng accomodation and food while staying there.

Ano po kaya ang magandang agent? gemini23 anong agent mo yung nag apply ka for tourist sa australia. Anong po kayang agent ang maganda dito sa pilipinas?

Sis, when mo plan mag apply? Check mo na lang online ang requirements andun naman lahat. May invitation and work ka? Nakapagtravel ka na din outside the country? Yun friend ko kasi first time nya. Im helping her out kasi madali lang naman i diy.

@rose082412 According to my agent basta kumpleto requirements mo mabibigyan ka ng visa unlike sa US, nag-try ako mag-apply before for tourist visa, kumpleto papeles ko, denied pa rin at hindi clear ano reason. Education consultancy dito sa Indonesia ginamit ko kasi friend ko ang may-ari so nagpatulong ako baka sakali ma-process nila, kasi wala din akong time na mg-asikaso dahil s work, then yun ok naman. I don't know ano maganda agent sa Pinas, ask mo yung ibang forumers dito na naka-appy na ng tourist visa sa Pinas.

@rose082412 -- first time mong mag-apply ng TV to OZ? I suggest you apply for 3 months muna. frame time, if nalodge na application mo, wait at least 2-3 weeks processing time. If lodge offshore. Good thing you have relatives to Sponsor you. Success rate mo mataas. Gastos? current DIAC application fee in AUD$ 115.00 convert mo nalang to peso. Requirements? madali lang naman.

@Yukishih No, single lang binigay sa kin, good for 3 months. I think case to case basis din, kasi me existing working visa ako sa Indonesia na mag-expire four months prior to the application of my tourist visa kaya siguro single entry lang binigay sa kin.

hi all share ko lang experience ko. I prepared the following docs for my younger brother when I was still in PH.

1. Bank Cert - we went to BDO to open an account. I transferred 200k on the same day. The next day my younger brother requested for a bank cert, I then requested him to transfer my money back to my account. 1 day deposit lang hehe

2. Invitation letter from my brother and sisters in Sydney.

3. NSO birth cert

4. 48R tourist visa form

5. Call the call center to ask how much is the tourist visa app. Go to any bank and request for a managers cheque with the visa amount.

6. Put all these inside a long brown envelope. Go to VIA centre makati to submit your application. This is also open during sat (half day). You can also phone the call centre to pickup your application at your preferred place but in my experience the call charge was P1,000+. I was surprised with my PLDT phone bill! I suggest you visit the VIA to submit your visa application.

He went here in OZ for three months :) Wala po siyang work kaya ok lang.

I also did the same process to my sister's friend who was denied for a tourist visa 3X way back 5 years ago! She went here for 3 mos as well.

Result will be within one or two weeks.

Nagapply din ako ng tourist visa last 2007 but got denied because of unsufficient funds (30k bank cert) Wala pa kasing magandang work sa Pinas that time.

I applied again 2010 along with my gf. We went to Oz for two weeks and that changed my mind to migrate in Oz. Kaya paguwi namin inasikaso ko na agad lahat ng papers.

Ang bait mo! Sabayan ko na ng follow up na tanong kasi nabola na kita. LOL! Joke lang ha . Totoo yung mga sinabi ko. Ano work ng kapatid mo at friend ng sister mo nung nag apply sila? Both single? Girl ba yung friend ng sister mo?

@Yukishih Hindi na ko nag-submit ng leave sa office kasi sinakto ko sa 3 weeks vacation sa work. My agency suggested to put more than $4000 for 10 days stay. At first bank account certificate lang sinubmit ko sa agency but the agency asked me to submit statement of bank account for the past 3 months.

Ah okay tapos binigyan ka ng up to 3 mos stay single entry. Galing. Nakakatuwa. Yung validity ng visa mo sis until when?

Yung kapatid ko wala pong work pasaway kasi e. Half girl pero boy hehe. Yung friend ng sister ko babae din.

In my opinion basta around 150k up ang nasa bank cert safe na po yan. Pwede ka din po manghiram kahit 1 day lang kagaya ng ginawa ko sa kapatid ko basta po may magssponsor ng accommodation nyo. Mahal kasi ang accommodation sa AU.

Sinamahan ko din ng letter sa application saying na they just want to see tourist spots of Sydney with pictures hehe

@sohc grabe 200k po ba talaga ang money sa bank account kapag mag aaply for tourist sa Australia? My cousin told me about the "bond" are u familiar sa bond? pera daw po un na binibigay po sa Gov't for sure na hindi ka mag tnt sa Aus.? tama po ba? One more question kapag tourist visa po ba kailangan din kumuha ng IELTS?
