    Sorry walang positive feedback sa kaibigan ko from Brisbane, I will let you know in case may good news.

    Yung small unit ko kasi may tenant pa, but once vacant mag papa-share accomodation ako sa mga Pinoy na bagong dating. Kaso next year pa yun, so pasensya na I won't be able to help you this time.

    I'm sure you've already checked gumtree and realestate websites, but I hope you'll end up sharing with pinoys para easier ang adjustment mo sa new environment.

    As in other places sa buong mundo, sa church ka makaka-meet nang mga kababayan. Sa St Stephens sa city laging may mga pinoy sa mass, yung ibang churches sa suburbs may choir pa sila.

    Other sites na helpful:

    translink.com.au - Brisbane public transport site, check with your school if you're entitled sa concession (50% off yun)
    whereis.com.au - gives you an idea how to go from point A to B

    @Laarmie - may na contact ako na accomodation sa Brisbane, pm me ASAP if you are still looking. Kapitbahay nang friend ko, pinay din daw ang living on her own sa 4 bedroom house.

    Mga 25 mins away by bus from CBD yung place, so lumipat ka na lang later if you think it is too far sa school mo. Kahit temp accommodation lang muna para at least may titirahan ka when you get there.

    @Laarmie ..hi laarnie, we have a granny's flat available for rent for $120.00 a week here in Brisbane , 35 minutes to CBD close to train , near Sunny bank (chinese/Asian market), 10 minute walk to train station, with own bathroom/ hot and cold shower, own room,own kitchen .
