    Just wanted to know kung may alam kyong websites para magka-idea kme ng fam ko how much ung rental ng bahay sa perth?

    Or any ideas kung anong range of rent prices?

    Paano ung usual agreement when renting a house or room sa Perth?

    My friend from Queensland said that be careful when choosing a house rental in gum tree coz there are a lot of scammers there. :)

    Thanks for the suggestion @mikaela01.. actually even here in SG, gumtree is very unreliable website.. I experienced hoax people pretending to be the seller/owner..

    hope I can find a place before I got there in Sept... :)

    Hi nahzd. Just wondering kelan alis mo punta Perth? Ako kasi naghahanap din ng room (tsaka syempre, work), and mukhang malabo ako makakita via online. So I'm thinking of booking hotel maybe for 3 days, then saka na lang ako hanap ng room after landing. By the way, SG ka rin pala? Ano industry mo dito?

    go for reiwa.com. rental here for 3 bedroom 2 bath is $380 to $400. 2 bedroom 1 bath is less, probably at $320-$350. the quoted amount is per week basis. you need to posts a bond of 2 weeks.

    @brent - thanks for your inputs. naka-set na rin ako kung ano mga task on hand ko pagdating ko sa Perth. yun nga, nagbook ako nghotel for 2 nights, then lipat ako sa backpackers once naka-hanap nko ng bahay (hanggang makasweldo..hehehe) bale sa IT industry ako.. internal support nakuha kong work. Try mo sa Seek.com.au. dun ko nkita work ko dyan. :)

    Sa mga nasa Perth, if dealing with agents, do you pay any fee for them like "agent's fee" if nakahanap sila ng place para sa inyo?

    Dito kse sa singapore, gnun sa knila, kelangan may agent's fee. khit sa pag-renew ng contract, may bayad pa din ung agent :(

    @nahzd - ang agent's fee bayad lahat nang landlord, you don't need to worry about it. At least 7.5% nang rent punta sa agent + pag nakahanap nang tenant or renewal kanila din 1 week rent.

    Prepare ka lang money for bond and 2 weeks advance yata. Pakabit electricity and phone may added cost din.

    Every 3 or 6 months they might inspect the property, so dapat keep it in good shape.

    ndi kaya monthly bayad pero for sale? or same din sila ng iba na may 2wks advance, etc.?

    karamihan ng nagre-reply sa inquiry namin online, parang bogus.. :(

    anyway, we are also looking for a room. ETA: nov 2012. 1 room lang actually kasi si hubby lang ang mag-a-advance party muna para humanap ng work. hehe.

    kung meron naman po kayong vacant room for rent, anywhere sa perth na accesible sa public transport, pa-advice naman. salamat in advance.

    anybody who knows na nag pa pa rent ng house 10-15km close the CDB let me know. Our contract will end Dec 31, 2012. Our landlord has sold etong ni rent namin. sabi nya don't worry coz sa investor nila ibebenta but then it was sold to somebody who wants to move in sa house kaya kami nagulat pero la magawa. so we need to a new house to lease. Thanks!

    Hi @MclarenF1 - dito ako unang tumira pagkadating ko sa perth temporarily, you can try to book here for ilang days para makapaghanap ng bahay: http://www.citywaters.com.au/ since 3 kyo darting dito. malapit to sa cbd.

    Then try to search dito sa www.realestate.com.au, reiwa.com.au & www.tylerandsons.com.au. dito lang din ako nakahanap ng bhay sa kakasearch.

    plan mo lang na pagkadating nyo dito may viewing ka na agad para marami kang options.

    @MclarenF1 mdyo challenging yang gagawin mo.. i doubt na madaling makahanap ng bahay lalo na naghahanap ka palang ng work. kse sa forms na binibigay ng mga agents dito, required yung kung anong work mo tska reference sa office mo dito.

    maganda nga rin ung 2 kyo andito, kaw habang naghahanap ng work then si misis nagviviewing ng bhay. maganda itong setup kung ndi problem ang financial. kso, yun nga nagbabackground check din ung mga agents.

    If I may suggest, pwdeng ikaw nlng mauna pumunta dito, then hanap ka ng work. you can stay sa mga backpackers (medyo mura ang rental) wag ka lng msydong magdala ng maraming gmit for your own safety. Napansin ko sa mga ibang tao dito gnun ginawa.

    you can think about it first, tutal my 3months to prep ka pa.
