457 visa timeline...2012 applications

I am starting a thread for those who lodged a 457 visa this 2012 so we have an idea of timelines:

My timeline:

30 April 2012 e457 lodged

09 May 2012 additional indo requested

10 May 2012 primary applicants health requirements finalized

dependent's online status

30 April 2012 health requirements outstanding

Yung online status ng dependents ko hindi na nagbago. Hindi ko alam kung bakit outstanding pa rin ang health requirements nila. Yung meds namin ay ginawa last year pa kaya di ko alam bakit hindi pa finalize yung sa dependents ko while yung akin finalized na.

We are going to be 3 weeks from lodging on Monday. Hoping to get the visas before the end of the month.

Hi, kaka lodge mo pa lang... take it easy wag masyado atat isipin mo na marami kayong nag-apply ng visa at kaunti lang ang CO... noon ang pinaka mabilis ay 3 weeks dipende sa skills malamang mga more than a month yung visa application mo.

Anong visa ba ang pinag usapan ng employer at husband mo? 457 visa ba? If 457, there are 3 steps:

Employer applies to DIAC to be a sponsor (eto yata pinaka matagal na process). Hindi ko alam gaano katagal kasi approved sponsor na yung employer namin before ako na offeran ng job kasi marami na siya na sponsor dati.
Employer applies for nomination to DIAC. In this stage, ino-nominate yung husband mo as a potential employee and yung position niya. Dapat yung salary niya ay market salary rate at aabot sa TSMIT (sa ngayon ang TSMIT ay $49,330). Yung nomination ko na-approve in 2 weeks.
Pag approve na nomination ng husband mo. Apply na ng 457 visa. Dito yung mga documents na ng husband mo ang kelangan submit sa DIAC. Process could take 2 weeks to 12 weeks. Yung iba swerte 2 weeks lang approve na, yung akin 3 weeks na wala pang result.

Chances ng approval or rejection, DIAC lang nakakaalam. Usually yung sponsorship at nomination part ang critical.

As for the documents, I do not know what documents will be needed from your husband as proof of experience kasi usually certificate of employment ang binibigay pero sa case ng husband mo ay self-employed siya, right? Baka mas mabusisi ang DIAC sa requirements to prove yung work experience niya.

Mas mabuti kung may Migration agent kayo. Usually naman yung mga employers sila na kukuha ng agent para mag ayos ng papers.

Sorry, misunderstood ko, yung may trading business pala ay yung employer sa Australia. Akala ko yung husband mo ang may trading business. So employee pala siya dito sa Pinas.

Anyway, yung verification bihira nila tawagan yung previous employers pag 457 visa pero meron din iba na tinatawagan. Yung akin may previous employers ako na wala akong certificate of employment at hindi naman humingi yung case officer. Baka dahil 6 years na ako sa current employer ko at may employment cert ako sa current employer. Ang hinihingi lang naman sa application form ay employment history for the past 3 years (I think because this is enough experience to prove you can do the job) pero sa resume isulat lahat ng employment history lalo na kapag related sa job offer.

Hindi na kelangan CHED certification. Scan nyo lang original diploma and transcript. Kung colored yung original yun na isubmit ninyo pero pag black and white yung original, ipa photocopy them ipa certify as true copy sa notary public. Patatakan nyo CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL sa notary public.

Hi Guys! I am so Happy. Visa approved today. Lodged 30 April 2012 and approved 25 May 2012.

Hintay pa ako advise ng employer kung kelan pero sana July na kasi marami pa ako gagawin dito na mga errands.

Tapos ka na ba nag pa visa evidencing? gaano katagal nabalik passport mo after mo na submit sa VIA?
