Hi @tamarind26, siguro case to case basis din, although I'm not sure kung anong criteria. I filed my SA SS application last March 10 and got approved March 30. Nominated occupation ko is Production/Plant Engr., yun nga lang mas mabilis talaga response ng WA, kaya I went for WA na. Cheers!

Hi @brent. Recently lang po sila nagpost ng changes regarding SLA for SA State Sponsorship apps. This week ko lang din nakita sa site nila. Nung ni-start pa tong topic na to, nasa 4 weeks palang po yung SLA. Not sure when exactly nabago yung timeline. Might be because biglang dagsa ang SS applications kaya inadjust nila yung timeline.

Hi friends, Kapag ba sa Queensland ka nag apply ng sponsorship pero wala sa skills na kailangan nila, Di na pwede mag-apply?

@shatterdude - one of the requirements for state sponsorship is that your skills should be on their shortage occupations list.. minsan may mga state na meron off-list nominations.. pero at this time mostly puno na ang off-list... kasi nagoopen sila every Jul1...

nag try ako mag email sa WA and SA.. and both replied na puno na nga ang off-list slots..

@lock_code2004 thanks, Sa queensland kasi ang kuya ko pero di pa sya PR kaya nagapply kami 175 pero kung maapproved sa 176 ok lang din, sabi kasi nila mas mabilis yata ang 176. thanks.

@shatter - yup mas mabilis nga ang 176.. mostly within 4 weeks may case officer na allocated na agad.. ang 175 nmn average 6 months as of today..

kung meron ka nmn 65pts.. then apply right away for 175 before skill select implementation in Jul1.

but if your really want 176, check other states, but also consider time.. kung aabot pa ang application nyo sa State Sponsorship kung hinahabol nyo nga ang deadline before Jul1..

@lock_code2004 - oo hinahabol talaga namin mkapagpasa before jul1, nakapagpasa na kami sa acs nsa 4th stage na. yun ielts naman kukuha misis ko sa june8 tapos nun lodge na kami agad ng 175. Pag bumagsak nga lang sa ielts dun kami aabutan ng EOI.. Actually ngayon kumpleto na kami ng docs na ipapasa so sana talaga makahabol kami. thanks sa reply.

Hi guys, ano po ang assurance natin kapag nominated/sponsored na tayo ng state? Does it mean po ba na positive na din tayo sa visa grant? Formality na lang ba ang visa lodging, granting ok na din ang medicals?

@chiffonscarf - di po guarantee na positive na yung visa grant pag sponsor ng state though mas mataas na po yung chance ng approval pag may State sponsor. it still depend sa ibang requirements po.
