Thank you for your reply, i have another question: i am planning on getting a student visa subclass 572 for VET courses, philippines is assessment 3, who is allowed to be my sponsor? Can any of my aunt or uncle here in the phils sponsor me as long as they have funds? I have read somewhere that if your aunt or uncle will sponsor you, they need to be a citizen of australia..i dunno which is which..please enlighten me..WHO CAN SPONSOR MY EDUCATION IN AUSTRALIA? LIST OF ACCEPTABLE SPONSORS. I will be very grateful for your help.

@trishaiara AFAIK tama si LokiJr ang kailangan lang is affidavit na they will be supporting you financially. Kailangan nila ipakita ang funds nila na abot dun sa required. Diko lang alam kung pwede kahit ilang sponsors. The best thing is to go to IDP makati then mag consult ka dun. Bibigyan ka nila nang lahat nang kakailanganin mong reqs. at breakdown nang estimated na funds. Dont worry free yung consultation sa Education Agents. Mag papa-appointment ka lang. Have you selected school nb s sydney? if yes, you should have a letter of offer n and mgbayad k n ng enrollment fee.
regarding s sponsor you need a affidavit n this person will sponsor you and your expenses s school and bank certificate & other paper that will guarantee they have funds for u.
ready all your papers and be certified.

Hi trish! my student visa application is ongoing na. :) it took me months of preparation para hindi masayang ang visa application fee hehe non refundable kasi kaya super research din kami re: student visa. Kakatapos lang namin mamedical and waiting nalang kami sa grant of visa :)) from what i know, hindi naman kailangan sa account mo pa itransfer ang funds, kailangan mo lang pakiusapan sponsor mo na gumawa ng Statutory Declaration. 2 years din course ko, est. Au$36,000 ang show money for the 2year course, ang immig parin kasi ang magcocompute ng mga expenses mo at living cost sa australia. And true na kailangan atleast 3mos prior to lodgement of application naka place na sa bank ng sponsor mo ang money. Hindi lang ako sure kung kahit sino pwede magsponsor sayo. Kasi in my case sure na sure ako na pwede dahil immediate family (ate and brother ko), however, dinagdagan din namin support by submitting stat decs of my 2 aunts stating na willing sila magsponsor sakin in case kailanganin. Para dagdag tulong narin sa assessment ng diac :))

Di na kailangan ng agent if meron naman magaasikaso na kapamilya mo sa australia ng course na kukunin mo. Kasi required na enrolled ka muna bago makapag lodge ng application.

Hi guys, just to drop an info that start march 15, 2012, philippines is categorized to country with assessment level 1 from previously level 2. This means that anybody taking up bachelor degree and applying student visa does not requiered to show financial details and does not requiered to take ELTS anymore. It is advisable to consult to your education agent and get the straight answer and prepare your enrollment before you stress out finding possibility on your own. Have a nice day all!

@mamaix Hi maam, pwede bang makahingi nung sample nang stat dec nyo for financial sponsor. Kailangan din kasi namin kayal nag wala kaming template or reference kung ano yung nilalaman. Hope to hear from you soon

hi po .. gusto ko sana magapply ng student visa pero wala pa ako idea maliban sa mga nabasa ko sa forum ...ano po b 1st step ko . 2 kasi kame ng sister ko balak mag.aral ako graduate ng bsn ang sister ko po undergraduate ng it . gusto sana namin kunin na course IT ung my diploma and the same time po makapagwork din sna duon. kelangan ko po kasi ng advice. thank you

Reply to @japs: Mine with hubby and son, 2.7+++M. Like what I mentioned sa kabilang thread kapag school age ang baby mo isasama sa computation ang cost of study yata. Mine kasi is 2 years old.

If your visa is buss short stay i guess di mo sila maisama talaga.

ask ko lang po.. about sa bank statements.. di ba po bank account 3 months prior to submitting the visa application ang kailangan.. halimbawa po, na bukas ako magpapasa .. august 24,2012 .. kailangan po ba from may 24 to august 24 ang ipapasa ko po? kasi sabi po ng uncle ko (na nasa australia) end of the month daw nagpapadala ng bank stat. nila.. so hanggang august 2 palang po ang hawak ko ngayon..( bale po ang susunod na statement na ipapadala sa kanila is from august 3 to september 2 po).. gusto ko na po kasi maipasa ng maaga ... paano po ba yon? thank you..
