That's great news. Nakakatuwa nga eh, mukhang in demand talaga yun skill na yan. Ayun nakakuha agad work sa hotel. And they are doing well so far. Ngayon naman sa Australia din. :D

    @jella

if ur current occupation is in SOL with at least 2 years experience, then you have a better chance on skilled migration. Otherwise, the best way is student visa route.

@jella, hehe frustrated course ko yan a :D
I don't recall your occupation to be in the SOL, therefore, to get to Australia you need to look for an employer to sponsor you. Your best bet would be the company employing you right now. It's very possible especially if the company is a multi national firm :)

i advise her to search for schololarship sa australia. o kaya naman ask her employer na she is interested to move in australia kung may opening na position dun sa company branch nila sa australia. the best is mag inquire agad sa MARA.

@jella - i think you are qualified under the below visa kasi UP is one of the recognized university unless you are above 31 years of age. another factor pala is ano ba ang job mo?

    Temporary visas
Skilled – Recognised Graduate (subclass 476)
This visa is valid for 18 months and is for graduates from a ‘recognised university’. You will
need to check the department’s website for the current list of universities
    www.immi.gov.au/skilled/
The visa is not points tested. To apply, you must:
    • be under 31 years of age when your application is lodged; and
    • have completed a qualification at a listed university, in a field in demand in Australia.
If you are granted a Recognised Graduate visa you can apply for a permanent General
Skilled Migration visa at any time during the 18 months while holding this visa.
Occupation: ICT Analyst Programmer (ANZSCO 261311)

    Feb 03 2012 - IELTS Results (L-8.5 R-7.5 S-7 W-7)

  • Hi,LokiJr!

inuumpisahan pa lang namin un sa skill assessment, nag-agent na kami para maasikaso agad at makahabol bago un july 2012.nagfill-up kami ng form galing sa agent namin about sa educational info nya from elementary to college pati narin un work experience kasi nagdecide kami na stat dec ang gagamitin namin kasi ayaw talaga ni hubby humingi ng COE sa company nya dito sa sg,ok lang bang gumamit ng stat. dec. sa work experience? sabi kasi ng agent namin na pwede accept sya ng CO or reject. 2 course ni hubby, pareho sya licensed don,may points kaya makukuha don?
  • @Jenny_sg stat dec is fine, karamihan rin ng companies ko dito sa singapore ayaw magbigay ng detailed CoE so no choice but to prepare stat dec for these companies.

  • @lifehouse28, thank you! On the other side naman sakali di maapproved eh tuloy parin un trabaho nya dito.
  • Thank you, LokiJr! ako nga nagmomonitor kasi working si hubby at the same time nagrereview pa sya ng ielts....sugal talaga to....wahhh!
  • @Jenny_sg have you paid the agent yet? Anong name ng agent nyo if you don't mind?

  • Tama ka lifehouse28 by stage nga ang bayad upon signing, bayad ako ng 1500 bale first stage sya kasama don yun pagsusubmitsa skill assessment plus AU#760 or 710 yata then un ielts eh kami na bahala.
